The Indian Banks' Association (IBA) on February 06, 2026, notified regarding the Dearness Allowance for Workmen and Officer Employees in banks for February, March, and April 2026 under XII BPS/9TH Joint Note dated March 08, 2024.
The following has been stated:
• The confirmed All India Average CPI for Industrial Workers (Base 2016=100) for October 2025 (147.7), November 2025 (148.2), and December 2025 (148.2) works out to a quarterly average of 148.03. This reflects an increase of 25.00 points over the base index of 123.03 and a rise of 1.07 points compared to the previous quarterly average of 146.96.
• Accordingly, under Clause 13 of the 12th Bipartite Settlement dated March 8, 2024 and Clause 2(i) of the Joint Note dated March 8, 2024, Dearness Allowance payable to Workmen and Officer employees for February, March, and April 2026 shall be 25.00% of pay, with 0.01% change in DA for every second decimal place variation in CPI over 123.03 points.
